In this class, we will look at the grand story of Jesus, guided by the list of Jesus’ ancestors given to us by Matthew in his Gospel. We will learn how the Old Testament connects with the New Testament, will see that each individual can be a part of God’s ongoing story, and will consider how Jesus impacts biblical and personal perspectives of the past, present and future. This class offers many opportunities for discussion, for reading out loud, and for presentation (for those who feel ready to do so). English speakers at all levels of expression and comprehension are welcome. |
