Principled Negotiation Rocks

Everyone is involved in negotiations. What will we eat for dinner? How will we organize the study group? How late will we work in the lab? Sometimes it seems the only option is to give in to the wishes of others or to get angry and demand our own way. Both of these choices are unsatisfying. But are there techniques to arrive at mutually agreeable outcomes? Yes! We will explore the concept of principled negotiations as identified by the Harvard Negotiation Project and other resources with an emphasis on building strong and satisfying working relationships.
